The Brian and Harold Keevil Endowment: Taking Flight Grants

The Taking Flight Grants were established in 2009 to encourage Aboriginal high school and post-secondary students wishing to pursue a career in mining. Originally, three $2,000 scholarships were awarded annually, however, with the generous support of the Brian and Harold Keevil Endowment the grants have been greatly expanded. As of 2025, 7 qualifying students from across Canada will receive a $5000 grant. Applications are accepted for the October 30th deadline. Successful candidates will be announced and grants will be awarded by December 31st.
